I have returned

I'm going to be brave with this post. Since Cyrena set me up on my first post I have told myself that I would have to wait for a time to call her and receive help on the next. But as I said, I'm going to get brave. I guess if you are reading this then you will know that I succeeded by myself.

Since arriving home from Illinois life has been crazy. But then everyone knows that is just life. We all run around without our heads wondering where each day has gone and why we can't seem to accomplish anything. The days go by even quicker and we wonder why time can't slow down. I guess we just need to enjoy each second as they come and remember them.

The end of June and the first of July we were able to celebrate Josh's and Kyler's birthdays. Josh turned three and is a bundle of energy. I know that is why he doesn't put on much weight, he is always on the go. He loves to play and anyone around him plays with him because he takes your hand and guides you to what he wants. He loves Curious George so his birthday cake has George in an airplane, his second love. Michael has several planes that he loves to fly and has passed this passion on to Josh. One of his gifts was a scooter that Mark and Tara gave him. They always give the best gifts. Hence the picture.















You can see Kassy in the background. I know that she has posted this in her blog but we are excited about the new baby, "Molly" that will enter into our lives the end of February. This is just the nickname that they have given the baby that is until they find out what the baby is.

Kyler turned four on the third of July. He celebrated his party at Danielle's family cabin in Indian Canyon. This is one of his favorite places to be. Kyler loves several things. He loves to play, his favorite toy is horses. He has several and his Great Grandpa Bradfield built him a barn to hold all his horses. Except I don't think he realized just how many Kyler owns. Kyler also loves to watch movies and TV. His favorite show on TV is Diego. So I made him a Diego cake. In the picture he is with his cousin Rose on his mother's side. Also I have added a picture of Lexie and Ashton.















Lexie is Grandma's girl. With her being the only Granddaughter I get to spoil her a little bit different than the boys. She loves princesses and of course that is what I call her. Grandma's pretty princess. She is 2 1/2 now.

Ashton will be celebrating his first birthday in a couple more weeks. He is trying very hard to walk on his own. He wants to keep up with his brother and sister. He is a big boy and holds his own with them. He is such a joy in our lives.




A couple of weeks ago I had the priviledge of going to girl's camp. It is a different experience being with the Stake but I still had so much fun. In fact I have never laughed so hard or cried so much. As a stake presidency we were the ones causing most of the pranks and staying up the latest. I didn't stay up the last night because we couldn't keep a fire going but we still have a lot of fun. It was a great week and the best of all was that Paul was able to be there also. He has been going to girl's camp since 2000 and all those that have been there over the years have grown accustomed to him being there. He said that he would keep going as long as I go. Who knows how much longer that will be.

I can't leave this post without a picture of Bauer. We have really missed him. Cyrena keeps us informed about how he is doing. I guess when he sees an airplane he thinks that we are coming again. How I wish we could every month. Other times we have spent with him he has been afraid of us, but this time he loved being with us especially his papa. Hopefully we will be seeing them again in October when they come here. That is if the airlines keep their prices under control.















Hopefully I will be able to continue to update my post. As I read others I love keeping in contact with them and their families. As I said in my first post have patience with me.
